Reese Witherspoon`s man shops for ring
Reese Witherspoon`s boyfriend has been engagement ring shopping.
The `Legally Blonde` star`s partner, Hollywood agent Jim Toth - who she has been dating since February 2010 - has reportedly visited a number of high-profile jewellers in California, including the world-famous Harry Winston in Beverly Hills, looking for the perfect band to propose with.
A source said: "He was looking for something pretty big, around three or four carats. Reese probably wouldn`t wear anything larger than that since she`s not showy. Price wasn`t an issue."
Although it is not exactly clear when Jim plans to present Reese with the ring, it is expected to happen "very soon".
The source told RadarOnline.com: "It is expected to happen over the holidays."
Reese - who has two children, Ava, 11, and seven-year-old Deacon, with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe - recently praised Jim, describing him as a "wonderful" boyfriend.
When asked about the differences between dating a famous man and a non-celebrity, she said: "I have a little perspective on this. I wouldn`t say it`s easier. Every relationship has its own dynamic. And I don`t want to disparage any of the other relationships that I`ve had that were meaningful and wonderful. But what I`m finding out is that it`s very comfortable to be with somebody who understands my career, but doesn`t do what I do. He`s a great guy. He`s wonderful."
